Call for Nominations for 2024 General Election

Please click the Link above to view the Call for Nominations for Reeve, and Division 1, 3, and 5 Councillors.

Please note that you can run in any division within the RM, you do not have to live there.

However, the residents of that Division will be required to nominate and vote for you. 

Please call the office if you have any questions regarding running for council or would like some information.

Click the links for the Nomination and Candidate Acceptance forms, as well as the Public Disclosure Statement to be completed and handed in on Nomination Day by 4:00pm on October 9, 2024.

SOWMA Septic Awareness Week

SOWMA is hosting its annual Septic Awareness Week from September 16-20, 2024. Over the course of the week SOWMA will be hosting two free webinars to provide information on how septic systems work and how to operate and maintain them.

Office CLOSED August 14

As of August 14, 2024 the Office will be closed after the Council Meeting.

Regular hours will resume the next day, on August 15, 2024.

Bridge on Low Level Road CLOSED

As of August 7, 2024 the bridge on a low level road (East of Hwy 368 on Twp Rd 402) is CLOSED for Maintenance work.

Please find an alternate route during this time.

*UPDATE: As of August 8th, the road is now OPEN*

As per Subsection 269(1) of the Municipalities Act,  the 2024 Tax Notices have been mailed on July 31st, 2024.

August Council Meeting Rescheduled  & Public Hearing Notice

The council meeting scheduled for August 07, in conjunction with Public Hearing to Amend Zoning Bylaw is rescheduled to

August 14th, 2024 @ 8:00am.  The Public Hearing to discuss a Zoning Bylaw Amendment will be held at 9:00am.
